Organizing Hair Stuff

I am slowly organizing everything in my house!

Hailee has tons of hair stuff it was all thrown into a plastic shoe-box but there was so much of it that it was hard to find exactly what we were looking for. I had some Ziploc storage containers for lunches I have never used so I thought I'd use it to organize. It fits inside great and left some room for the bigger stuff. It works great we can now find everything easily!

Pinterest My New OBSESSION!

I have newly become addicted to Pinterest. I could be on there for hours looking at storage ideas, summer fun, & much more. Recently I came across a chicken recipe and thought I'd give it a shot, it sounded somewhat easy and yummy!

The recipe I pinned was from a post on Real Mom Kitchen for Cheesy Chicken Lasagna.

Cheesy Chicken Lasagna

2 (12 oz) cans evaporated milk (not fat-free)
1 (1 oz) pkg. dry Ranch dressing mix
3 C. cubed, cooked, chicken
1/8 tsp pepper
1 (16oz) lasagna noodles, cooked (she recommend reducing it to 8 oz to 12 oz, which i found to be a good idea)
1 1/2 to 2 C cheddar cheese, grated ( I used 2 cups)
1 1/2 to 2 C mozzarella cheese, grated ( I used 2 cups)

Cook the chicken and noodles first at the same time. Once noodles are done–rinse in cold water and set aside (it keeps them from sticking together). Combine evaporated milk (don’t use fat-free version) and Ranch dressing in a 3 quart heavy saucepan. Heat over low heat, stirring frequently until dry ingredients are dissolved. Stir in chicken and pepper. Simmer, uncovered, 25 minutes (don’t do any less), stirring frequently. Layer half of lasagna noodles, poultry sauce, and cheese in well-buttered 9×13 pan. Repeat layers again. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Let rest 10 minutes before serving.

Disney On Ice presents Dare to Dream Review

If you live in the Cleveland area I recommend taking the kids to see Disney On Ice presents Dare to Dream. I attended the show on Saturday with my daughter and two nieces. I surprised them by taking them and they loved the show.

During part of the show when it was really quiet my daughter and niece yelled "AWESOME" everyone in the whole arena looked at us. It was great to know they loved it.

The show started out with Princess Tiana, continued with Cinderella, a great performance by Rapunzel & Flynn, and ended with a beautiful surprise of all the Disney Princesses.

The performance by Rapunzel & Flynn was amazing, they flew from Rapunzel hair and it was amazing to watch!

If Disney On Ice presents Dare to Dream comes to your city be sure to check it out. We have been to plenty of Disney On Ice shows and this one by far was the best! I guess it helps that Rapunzel was in it!!

We were introduced to Pawparazzi Pets in 2010 and Hailee just loves them we own Toby, Daisy, & Woofgang. We were sent Mindy to add to our adorable collection of kitties & puppies!

Mindy is an adorable little golden kitty. She is a Wildlife Expert, is in Peru studying butterflies for her 'In the Jungle' special on Cat vs. Wild T.V. she includes a ladybug purse she can be carried around in, a blanket, & collectors booklet.

Along with Mindy we were also sent a Celebrity Sleepover Set. The set includes a super cute sleeping bag, bunny slippers, pillow & a teddy bear. It also comes in a reusable bag to keep the small items from getting lost.

We did a review awhile back for the adorable PetCakes. This time we were sent even more adorable PetCakes, these PetCakes are mini only 1.50 inches tall and have a cupcake wrapper just like the originals that they can come out of. Just Think Toys Ball Run & Seaport BathBlocks

We were sent the 21 pc Ball Run & the 13 pc seaport Set of BathBlocks. Hailee still loves to play with toys in the bath but most bath toys are strictly for babies/toddlers. Although they are sets, Hailee would rather just build towers and stick them on the walls. I'm sure little boys would enjoy the Seaport set more than my little girly girl. She does like the Ball Run set though.

BathBlocks are made from bacteria and mildew resistant EVA and contain no PVC or phthalates. BathBlocks have received Oppenheim’s Gold Award. They come in reusable storage bags that the blocks can be put in while wet since there is netting at the bottom for the water to drain off.

Glow Crazy Glow to Go

Hailee loves all things that glow so she was excited to receive the Glow to Go by Glow Crazy. She loves to draw as well this was a bit hit. It can be taken in the car to keep the kids busy or just used at home.

It comes with stencils but Hailee would rather just draw her own designs. It has 4 different colored pages to draw on, pink being Hailee's favorite. It folds up and has handles to make it easy to take on the go. There is a pocket to store the stencils in and a spot to stick the pen is as well. The pen is attached with a string so you don't have to worry about loosing it.

You do not have to be in the dark to play just not in very bright light.The pictures are erased by completely exposing the pages to light.

Before Christmas I made a wishlist at Edenfantasys for some products I would love to eventually purchase. I decided to give the Milk made hydrating moisture milk body moisturizer a shot. I have the driest face on earth I swear so I am desperate this winter. I have never used a product like this before so I wasn't sure if it would work. I love that it comes in a spray bottle! The smell is a lil bad but the product works wonders, my face is actually smooth. The smell doesn't stay either so if you don't like it it doesn't stay on your skin away. It is packed with coconut oil, shea butter, marshmallow extract and whole milk to soothe, smooth and hydrate skin. It is definitely worth the price alot goes a long way!!

I also decided to try out the Intimate caress shave cream, I have been along time user of Coochy Shave Cream but wanted to try something new. I am very pleased with my decision. Intimate caress shave cream is easier to use becuase of the pump bottle. I choose the Honeysuckle scent. The product works great. Its not as thick as other shave creams which I like. The bottle is a decent size so it will last awhile. It comes in 3 scents. I would like to try the coconut and pineapple next.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. We sure did, Hailee got tons of great gifts and a new laptop! She is in heaven playing Nick Jr. & PBS Kids. I havent had much time to blog since I have been so busy, my email was also down for a few days for an unknown reason so I will get all my reviews/giveaway posted asap!

We are working on getting Hailee's room together & toys put away.

Slice Safety Cutter Review

Slice sent me the Safety Cutter. I love it, its so easy to use. You just hold it between your thumb and index finger and slide it along what you want to cut.

If you have numerous pages of the same thing to cut it will cut through them. I used it to cut through 4-5 pages and it worked! No more cramping your fingers in scissors.

Another great thing is that the blade is ceramic making it last longer than steel and it never rusts. It has a built in magnet to stick it on your fridge or whenever for quick finding and a key ring hole in case you want to take it on the go.

It opens CDs & DVDs easily!It also works great for opening packages I get from wonderful companies for product reviews! Packages always come all taped up and you have to be Houdini to get them open! With the Safety Cutter you just Slice right into the package in a quick second. Makes life so much easier.

I'd love to find a few products in my stocking this year! The winter wonderland lip gloss trio would be nice although in this house I doubt my daughter could last 5 minutes without stealing them, so they would make a great gift for any girl.

Not sure about lip scrubs but the 12 days of Christmas lip set would be a pretty nice gift to give to a friend or family member. There is also a Hanukkah set!

Barbies are a huge thing in our household. Hailee absolutely loves Barbies! She always brings Barbies with her when we leave the house.

Neat-Oh sent up an awesome Barbie ZipBin Clutch. The Barbie Clutch opens up to hold a Barbie and a few accessories. It has a little fold out to sorta look like a closet you could say. It has a mirror so Barbie can always look her best. I love that it looks like a purse. The only problem she has is deciding which Barbie to pack in it!

ZipBins are a wonderful to keep toys cleaned up. With all the toys kids get for Christmas ZipBin can make storage very easy! We own a few ZipBins and they are well worth the money! Its storage and then open to a play area so its two gifts in one!

We have got a head start on Christmas this year, this past Thursday we put up our Christmas tree already. Hailee loves decorating the tree and talking about the ornaments. Every year we buy 1-2 new ornaments. I used to buy the personalized ones but at our local mall they are very expensive & then to have your name added there is another charge, they also never have a good selection.

I was looking online at came across Ornaments with Love. They have a huge selection of Christmas Oranments for everyone! I chose to review a cheerleading ornament since Hailee loves Cheer so much. They have a bunch of different cheerleader girls to choose from so you can pick the one who matches your childs skin color & hair color. I chose the red cheerleader with blonde hair.

The Christmas Ornament arrived neatly packaged and included a gift bag with a tag to make it a great gift for a family member or friend!

Hailee immediatly added our new ornament to the tree, the name looks great and I'm glad to have the year on it as well, this was her first year as a squiggie cheerleader!

There are lots of other sports ornaments to choose from and some for just about everything else as well!

Hailee is getting older and her room needed some updating she love cheerleading, I found the perfect vinyl to add to her room from Design with Vinyl. I choose a cardinal red cheerleader to put above her dresser to add the finishing touches to her trophies & such! It turned out looking great and Hailee loves it.

I wanted this vinyl design for my living room after I finish rearranging everything. I can't wait to add it to the wall its going to look great!

Hailee just recently has become obsessed with glow in the dark. Educational Toys Planet sent us the GeoSafari Light Writer. It comes with 7 stencils including dinosaurs so of course its a hit in our house with my dino lover. You can choose to draw with or without the stencils. A special light pen provides light into the unique glow in the dark drawing sheets to make it glow. Its easy to use, when your ready to start a new drawing you just peel back the sheet and start again!

The GeoSafari Light Writer is travel friendly since its small and only takes 2 AAA batteries.

Hailee takes it into the bathroom to get the best glow, because you know that the best place for glow in the dark things lol.

This would make a great Christmas gift for kids around 5 years old, and its less than $20!

I am getting back into blogging, the summer was pretty hectic with Hailee cheering, me being a cheer coach, all the football games & everything else. Our season ended on Sunday when our team won the Super Bowl! It has been a great season and we are looking forward to next year.

Its Fall and that means I have to retire my tank tops and its time for t-shirts and sweatpants. I only wear t-shirts that are comfortable and fit my personality! I have been looking for the perfect rug for my bathroom. I have been through so may rugs and none seem to last after I wash them even just once. With having kids run in and out all day using the bathroom its hard to keep the rug clean.

I was given the opportunity to try out a rug of choice from Jellybean. I chose to review the Zebra print rug of course1 I really wanted the pink zebra print but I went the traditional Black & White! When I received the rug I could tell it wasn't going to be like any other rug I have had. It looks nice in my bathroom and doesnt look dirty yet! The backing isn't the cheapo crap that falls apart! You can tell just by the look that the rug isnt going to fall apart and it will last through many washing!

I love that Jellybean Rugs are machine washable, "...washes better than your jeans." They can be used indoors or outdoors. The rug is pretty good size as well! I love the look and feel of the rug, I plan on everntually getting another one for my upstairs bathroom and possibly my kitchen to!

There are tons of patterns & prints to choose from so there is definitely something for everyone & every room of the house or outdoors!!

To be honest I don't read books, I was never much of a reader. After seeing EdenFantasys had a book section I became curious as to see what they were all about. There are a bunch of different types of books to choose from Karma Sutra to Educational & Informative Books and of course guides to better sex if you need to spice things up.

I heard from a friend Tickle His Pickle was a good book to read full of interesting tips and tricks to "pleasing" your man so I decided to check it out. The book included a recipe to change up the "taste" as well! It had some things in the book that were new to me as well as some things most of us know already. Its a fun book to read and didn't take long to finish at all. The pictures in the book are humorous as well! Dr Sadie Allison shared some easy things men love to spice "it" up!

When your ready to try out some of the techniques on your man you could add some warming lubricant to heat things up a bit! There are many to chose from but its all based on your preference of taste & such.

Splish Splash by Gamewright

We were sent a new game from Gamewright called Splish Splash. Hailee was very excited to play this game. Its easy for the younger kids to play since no reading is required.

The game is ages 4 and up and for 2-4 players and lasts about 15 minutes.

The object of the game is to collect all of the color splashes on your board. In order to receive splashes you have to roll the dice to see how many times you throw the little pebble into the pond. If a match of "splish splashes" splashes out of the pond you add those to your board. If you roll a splish splash on the dice you choose a color splash to add to your board.

Each game includes:
50 wooden droplets

4 character boards
1 custom die

1 wooden pebble

1 game board

rules of play, also in Spanish

The game is alot of fun for the kids while learning matches & colors. You do have to throw the pebble a little hard to get the splashes out of the pond!

Cadoozles Review

Its almost time for the kids to head back to school. Hailee starts Kindergarten September 1st. One of the most important school supplies are pencils. I have always used mechanical pencils when I was in school so I plan to continue using them with Hailee.

We will be going through alot pencils between school & homework. Zebra sent us a package of Cadoozles. Besides being very cute they work very well to. I stole the sports one to use at cheer while I'm coaching.

Cadoozles uses .7mm lead that can be refilled. The package included 6 different designs fit for all ages.
Hailee loves the ice cream printed one.

The eraser is much bigger so they are sure to last along time. I know when I had mechanical pencils back when I was in school I always wore out the erasers after a few uses because of how small they were.

Overall the pencils are made very well and I will be purchasing more throughout the school year!

I have been busy and stressed lately. I need some me time to relax and just enjoy the peace and quiet. I love taking a nice hot bath and relaxing with bubbles.

EdenFantasys has helped me relax in the tub with Chemistry Bubble Bath Set. The set comes with four test tubes filled with wonderful smelling bubble bath, Lavender, Lemon/Mint, Rose, Pomegranate.

The bubble bath tube contains a thick bubble bath and not much is needed to fill the tub with bubbles.

I love how each one smells and when I get out of the bath the bubble bath leaves my skin smelling great.

When I get out of the bath I love just listening to music relaxing with some candles lit. I have always been obsessed with candles. EdenFantasys has alot of different candles to choose from. If your just looking for smell to relax you they have aromatherapy candles.

If your want to share your relaxing time with a partner there are a few different massasing candles that would be nice to have. I'm interested in trying out the massage candles such as the Bwarm in Amber amore! It looks easy to pour onto your skin and im sure it smells good as well.

I love that for each product I am interested in I can read reviews that include the pros & cons of each product. Eveyones opinions are different but it helps when choosing the right product for you!

Laser Pegs World of Bugs Review

We recently received the new Laser Pegs World of Bugs Mini Kit to play with. Hailee loves to build things but I took over this kit myself. I was so interested in seeing how Laser Pegs worked. I used the step by step instructions and created The Mini Monster Bug.

Hailee is a little young to build the bug properly but she can build anything she wants. Each laser Peg lights up a different color. Only one Laser Peg is attached to the battery-operated power source, and the other pegs will light up once they become attached to it.

You can also purchase the AC accessory kit, which I would recommend so you don’t have to use batteries if your child really likes to keep it lit up.

The laser Pegs website has directions on making other creatures with your Laser Pegs as well as step by step videos to create you Monster Bug. The Mini Monster Bug Kit is $24.95 and provides hours of light up fun!!

The Gruffalo was a huge hit for Hailee. I personally enjoyed the movie myself as well.

Hailee caught on quickly and talked along with the mouse. The characters are all very cute. We just loved this movie so much, the first week we watched it 3 times a day!! It never seems to get old!

The Gruffalo is a 2010 Academy Award Nominee! The Gruffalo will be available at http://www.ncircleentertainment.com/ on August 16th! The movie runs for 40 minutes and retails for under $10. I recommend adding this movie to your child's collection!

AJJ Cornhole Review

I love to play cornhole and Hailee has always loved to try to play. She was very excited to receive a Tabletop Cornhole set from AJJ Cornhole. I have never seen anything like it before so it was new to the both of us.

The Tabletop set is so cute & tiny. The the bags are 1in x 1in, the boards measure 10in x 5in. We received the Navy Blue Pyramid Set. Each set comes with two boards and 8 bags, 4 of each color.

Hailee plays hers on the floor with her friends, they sit across from each other & take turns throwing their bean bags. The neighborhood kids and Hailee have alot of fun playing.

Tabletop cornhole is only $19.99. Its a great price for product that continues to bring fun to my daughter!!

We drink alot of water around here. I recently stopped buying bottle water and started buying gallons and filling up my own bottle. We take water to cheer everyday and thanks to Tazzini I now have a new awesome reusable bottle.

We were sent the Peace Signs Tazzini Water Bottle. It features a quote by John Lennon on it “If everyone demanded peace instead of another television set, then there’d be Peace”.

Besides the nice design it holds alot of water but is sleek enough to fit into standard cupholders. My favorite feature is the cap. It twists open & closed to prevent leaks and it has a covered lid to keep it dirt free. It has a wide mouth so adding ice is easy unlike other bottles we have! Its been 100 degrees this past week so we really need the added ice!

InchBug Orbit Labels Review & Giveaway

I have always labeld Hailee's drinks & such. Of course sticker labels peel & rub off. Hailee has just started cheerleading and will be going to school in September and will be packing a lunch. Lots of kids end up having the same bottles at cheer and sometimes get mixed up.

Great Big Outdoor Playball Review & Giveaway!

Magic Cabin is one of my favorite websites for children's toys. They always have the most unique fun toys that any child would love. We were recently sent the Great Big Outdoor Playball to review.

The ball does take some time to blow up since it has many chambers, each chamber has to be filled up separately. After it was finally full of air we had some neighbor kids test it out. The kids who first tried it out were 16 yr olds. They had alot of fun pushing each other around and even rolled down the hill we have.

We my daughter had the chance to try it out she was so amazed. She got in it and layed down to relax as she says. Her and her friends took turns getting in it & pushing it around. They had fun looking at each other through the blue & green. The Great Big Outdoor Playball provides the children of our neighborhood ages 3-7 with hours of fun.

The ball does get hot inside if your using it on a hot day, the kids didnt seem to mind the sweat they were having to much fun!

Whirl-a-Style Review & Giveaway!

Hailee has some long beautiful hair. Although she loves it because its long she also loves to have it put up. With her length & hair type there isnt much I can do to get it to stay up. She loves buns but they were always impossible.

Thanks to Whirl-a-Style she can wear her hair in a bun everyday! Because of her legnth we reviewed the Jumbo large.

As soon as it arrived we tested it out. I watched a quick video to make sure I did it exactly right. It was very easy to do. grab, roll, & snap! Once it was up it stayed up for the entire day of play. Being 5 years old she never stays still, the bun stayed in perfect until I took it out. She calls it her Tinkerbelll bun and loves to pretend she is a fairy!

She starts cheer pratice soon and this is going to be a great way to keep her hair up & off of her neck. She gets tons of compliments already on how cool her hair always looks!

The Whirl-a-Style comes in 5 sizes and is very affordable. It also comes in a variey of colors but once it up in the hair you can not see it so color really doesnt matter to me.
